Our 12th Season kicks off with this quirky but thoughtful, multi-award winning documentary. Secret Mall Apartment recounts the story of a group of Rhode Island artists who create a secret apartment in a major shopping mall, and go undetected for four years. Much more than a simple prank, the secret apartment became a deeply meaningful place for its inhabitants and a boundary-pushing work of public/private art.
