Six Thursdays of Stories and Fun!

Join us for stories and activities at the Marine Gazebo from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. starting July 7. Free, and open to all!

July 7: Debra Smith, Scandia resident, former librarian and author, will read stories about animals reading books.

July 14: Monette MacDonald, Marine resident and actress, will involve kids in movement and improvisational exercises She’ll read about celebrating and accepting differences.

July 21: Jill Kaufenberg, Marine resident and author of The Mitten Thief, will read stories and lead an art project.

July 28: Daniel Kilkelley, a Somerset librarian, will read, sing, and get into all sorts of shenanigans!

August 4: MacPhail Music Center returns with their popular Sing, Plan & Learn program about colors and feelings. (Thanks to the Legacy Program of Washington County!)

August 11: Rap, Rock & Read with Miss Nina. Miss Nina is an award-winning children’s music artist. Sing songs based on books, move and dance as she sings and plays the guitar. All ages will love her!
