Featured Artist – Dralandra Larkins + Open Mic.
The public are invited to attend a free event celebrating the power of poetry to create community and explore topics of the heart. First, we’ll welcome spoken word poet and artist Dralandra Larkins to share her beautiful voice. Then, we’ll open the mic to all for the remainder of the evening.
Open Mic begins at 8 P.M. If you’d like to read/perform, you will be allotted 3 minutes. Please plan accordingly so everyone has a turn to share their voice. Sign up will take place onsite.
We invite you to consider our theme for July as you create and prepare to share at open mic: Intimacy.
What IS intimacy? How do we cultivate it? There are so many temptations that lead us into false intimacy … so, how do we connect for real?

Arrow Broken Poetry Collective is a new organization (estab. 2025) led by Rosetta (Rosie) Peters, Suzi Hudson and Kate Seitz. Their working mission is to lead writing groups, outreach and education, and monthly poetry reading and open mic events in the St. Croix Valley.
