June 22 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Michael Albert, a notable New York based artist, is stopping in Marine to
be part of the Library’s Science/Art camp in the morning. He is staying for
an evening session for the community at the Marine Village Hall.
Michael is a prolific artist who over the past 35 years has created
thousands of original artworks in a wide variety of media. Particularly
noteworthy is his work in “Cerealism” using collages from cereal boxes. He has traveled to over 1000 schools, libraries, and museums to share his collages and to encourage
people to create art. His book, An Artist’s America, is available in our library.
During the evening Meet and Greet session at the Marine Village Hall, Michael will talk about his artwork and answer questions. He has some posters of his work to give away!
