Owamni Restaurant Excursion

Join us for a group Brunch at Owamni Restaurant in Minneapolis!
Owamni is a full-service Indigenous restaurant, showcasing true North American Indigenous foods and culture. We are happy to be able to offer this event at this highly regarded restaurant which was awarded the James Beard Foundation Award for Best New Restaurant in the U.S. in 2022.

We will meet at Owamni, where we have an 11:30 A.M. reservation. Attendees will be served dishes from a pre-set menu (details below). If possible, Owamni Host Sean Sherman or another Executive Chef will greet the group. There is space for up to 24 attendees, with one table for 10 and another table for 14 people.

Beverages
Beverages (other than water) are not included in the ticket price. However, they may be ordered and paid for at Owamni.

Event Details
Date and Time: Sunday, April 27 at 11:30 A.M.
Location: Owamni Restaurant, 420 South First Street in Minneapolis, MN 55401
(on the bank of the Mississippi River at the site of St. Anthony Falls – the name Owamni comes from the Dakota term for St. Anthony Falls, Owámniyomni)
** Transportation is NOT provided (carpooling encouraged)

Cost: $78.58 per person (includes pre-set menu items, tip, tax and payment fee) – see details below

Tickets are a two-step process: First, register using the link above. Then, watch for a confirmation email from the Library, which will include a link for payment.
Advance sign-up and prepayment are required.
Maximum of 24 attendees. We will create a waitlist, if needed.

Cancellation Policy: Refunds available until April 17th. After April 17th, no money back unless someone on the wait-list will buy the ticket(s).

Note that this is not a fund-raising event. We are simply collecting the money prior to the event so that Owamni can be paid with one check.
