Ryan Rodgers joined us via Zoom on February 24 to discuss his book Winter’s Children: A Celebration of Nordic Skiing.
The book traces the rise, fall and renaissance of Nordic skiing in the Midwest, and also includes information on downhill skiing and ski jumping. Some of the prominent leaders of Nordic skiing from the St. Croix Valley are included in the book.
Ryan is a freelance writer whose work has been published in Backpacker, The Sun, Minnesota Conservation Volunteer, Hamline, and Northern Wilds magazines.
