Our Minnesota climate has migrated 75 miles north in the past 50 years, and may shift 100-200 miles further north in the next 50. What will this do to our forests? Peter will discuss how Minnesota’s forests have changed since European settlement and how a warming climate might affect their future. He’ll also address climate change impacts globally and what you can do to help.

Peter Reich is Regents Professor in the Department of Forest Resources at the University of Minnesota, and lives in Marine.

Free. All are welcome. Light refreshments will be served. At the Marine Village Hall, 121 Judd Street, Marine on St. Croix.
