The UNTITLED JACOB WETTERLING DOCUMENTARY is a work-in-progress chronicling the circumstances and impact of the Jacob Wetterling story, an infamous case of child abduction that baffled Minnesota law enforcement for decades but strengthened the resolve of the community. The film features exclusive footage of those intimately affected by the mystery, captured during the tumultuous final year of the unsolved case and in the aftermath of its heart-wrenching resolution. The film also explores the important work undertaken in Jacob’s honor. Marine Doc Night attendees will be the first to view a behind-the-scenes look at this work-in-progress, with sample scenes and a conversation with filmmaker Chris Newberry. Documentary series goers may recognize the film-maker as the producer of last year’s popular screening of his award winning AMERICAN HEART.

Presented by the Marine Film Society and Marine Community Library.

Doors open at 6:30.  Light refreshments served. Admission is FREE! In the Marine Village Hall, 121 Judd Street, Marine on Saint Croix.
